With Pinch, Dark Sky, Breach, Phaeleh and Wholesick spearheading Room One, it looks like XOYO is gonna get crazy next week. The Kool Kids Klub seem to be everywhere at the moment. After hearing about Kanye West and Jay-Z performing ‘N****s In Paris’ ten times in one show during their American tour, it looks like Europeans will finally experience the ‘Watch The Throne’ experience. Another brain child of the Red Bull Music Academy 2011-2012 has emerged today. A 3-ball influenced, bouncy rave anthem coming courtesy of Paris based producer and Club Cheval member Canblaster and Denmark based producer of all things tribal and Guarachero Julius Sylvest. “We started this track the day we arrived [at RBMA]” Canblaster says and there is a definite sense of two producers entering the track familiar with each others work, as the big room synths synonymous with Canblaster gel so well with Julius Sylvests’ 3ball beats. On the 28th February, DJ Sliink’s ‘Vibrate’ EP will be available everywhere through Los Angeles based label Body High. It’s five original tracks from the Newark based producer with the pick of them for us being ‘Whine For Me’ and ‘Vibrate’, which will have you shouting VIBRATE out loud really fast and checking whether your phone’s has just gone off.
