On Monday last week we came back Belgium, capping off our final foreign stint of the summer in superb fashion. We’ve been so lucky these past two months to have had the opportunities to play at places and parties that we have thus far only dreamed of (Paris & Amsterdam) and Belgium continued that beautiful trend. Just under a week ago we arrived back from Amsterdam, our second European venture of the Summer, where we were lucky enough to attend some dope parties and finally get the chance to meet a lot of amazing people we’ve spoken with for a long time.
After one half of the AO-AO team Baixo and our good friend Bosstone threw down at DUKE on our first night, and after our day of chill on the Friday, we made our way to the Red Light Radio studio having been invited by Paradisiaca head Ed Orable to join a big showcase alongside Lucid, Samename and Bosstone. Situated in the heart of the infamous Red Light District in a small former prostitution window, it was a crazy experience which we must thank Red Light Radio and Paradisiaca for.
Having finished our broadcast in the Red Light District, we headed straight to Boycott where Lucid, DJ Slow, Mister Tweeks, Ed Orable and Guerilla Speakerz all tore up what was an incredible party. We were also incredibly honoured to have AO-AO playing a special guest set, alongside Bosstone as another Baixo & Bosstone B2B. The vibes were perfect and we were thrilled to finally meet the Pelican Fly family, who are probably the nicest bunch of guys around. Special shouts out also go to the Folie Douce crew, Slick Shoota, Emil and Samename.
Stream the set recorded live at Red Light Radio below and if you are in Belgium at the start of August, look out for us at the Folie Douce party which we cannot wait for. Read the rest of this entry »
On the 3rd August, we’re so happy to announce that we play at the Folie Douce Summer Break party at Le Petit Baigneur in Spa, Belgium. With Eclair Fifi, Lucid, The MRNG, Faisal, Ed Orable, Homan, Kon, Munix, Dilf and Merishh all on the bill, we absolutely cannot wait for this one. We were fortunate enough to meet some of the Folie Douce crew on our recent Amsterdam excursion and believe us, these guys know about going in. Set off the shores of Lake Warfaz in Spa, Jacuzzi’s, Cocktails and Pedelo’s are all promised on what’s set to be a special night. Tickets are 10 Euros and if you’re interested (which we strongly suggest you are), contact Folie Douce at: email@example.com. Huge love to the Folie Douce crew. This Friday, we play at the Chow Down & Friends party at Joshua Brooks in Manchester. With Pále, Samename, Coen, Finn McCorry and of course the Chow Down DJ’s on the bill, it’s set to be a dope family affair. Not only that, it’s £1 entry all night running from 22:00 – 04:00. Let’s do this Manchester. See you there.
Yesterday afternoon we came back from easily one of the most beautiful places in the world full of the most beautiful people. We just want to thank everyone we met there, everyone who partied with us and everyone that supports us out there, it was such a special week. On 12th June we hosted a night at Paris Social Club, something of a dream for us as Martelo, Coni, Bosstone, Samename and Berou all absolutely killed it, and we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd. On the 14th, we played at the Watch The Crew Pool Party, one of the wildest parties we’ve ever been at. It’s hard to describe. On our last night, we played at L\INCONNU, a dope bar run by some seriously amazing people. The vibe in that cave was incredible, and of course Paris isn’t short of special girls. Paris we love you and your people, we hope to see you soon. Also, we’ll be announcing some more tour dates in the near future, stay locked. X
