Icee AKA SpaceGhostPurrp AKA Ice Mack P has just released the second track “Whole Latta Ice” from his “Sex Money Drugs” mixtape. As anticipated the track goes in on a typically strong Southern Rap/Memphis-esque driven style, along with Icee coming with a seriously hard hook about him flossin’ with his ice and taking your wife.
After releasing the first track “Swervin” two weeks ago, Icee has taken a rather different approach to putting out this tape, as he gradually releases each track singly through his youtube. So, we said we’d keep you updated on the tape as each track is put out and we promise to live up to that.

Newness coming from East South London based producer Mumdance, as he provides us with the 5th “level”/instalment in his Different Circles mix series.
The series runs in parallel with Mumdance’s Different Circles club night at the Queen of Hoxton club, where last week he hosted a lineup he curated consisting of Randomer, Mumdance b2b with Logos, Offshore and more.
If you’re ever around Shoreditch when a Different Circles night is on, we highly recommend you reach out.
Stream the mix and check the tracklist (which Mumdance has provided in a shuffled order, so you’re going to have to do a bit of work still) below. Expect grime meeting Gunplay, house and a track of pitched dog yelps (and of course everything in that grey area in-between which Mumdance’s style snuggly fits). Read the rest of this entry »

It’s great to see two of our favourite artists out of Chi-city getting in the studio together, as King Louie and Lil Durk prepare their collabo album “Project X”, and from that album the duo have today released their track “I Love Money”.
The track’s release is coming as part of King Louie’s “Care Package” series, which sees the MUBU member dropping a bunch of free material for the next two weeks. So keep checking back here for each instalment from King L.
Get the download for “I Love Money” after the jump and also check out the recent article on the Chicago Drill Rap scene posted by our family at PureBakingSoda. Use google translate if you don’t speak french, but I think everyone can appreciate that the drawings they made for it are amazing. Read the rest of this entry »

It really is hard to keep up with British model Cara Delevingne at the moment. It’s just been announced that she will walk at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show this year in New York alongside the likes of Jourdan Dunn, Alessandro Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and crew. Another Green Ova member celebrating Green Day with a mixtape is Shady Blaze, coming with his “The Anomaly Of Hip Hop” project.
We’re still playing Shady’s collaborative mixtape with Deniro FarrarKill Or Be Killed” and it’s good to see even more from the Green Ova Chapter 5 member. With appearances from Mondre M.A.N and Deniro Farrar and a tribute track to Shady’s late brother Thizzle Jones, this tape is yet another brilliant one to come from the Green Ova camp on Green Day (which is also Shady’s birthday).
So happy Birthday to Shady and happy belated Green Day to everyone. Cop the mixtape after jump via Shady’s Bandcamp…(Side note; watch this verse Shady spits perfectly on the Ryan Hemsworth 8 Ball Remix with Main Attrakionz).

Hollywood Squadda AKA Squadda B AKA 1/2 of Main Attrakionz has dropped a free double disc mixtape entitled “LFK“, featuring fellow members of the Green Ova family Shady Blaze, Mondre M.A.N (together with Squadda as Main Attrakionz), Dope G and Lo Da Kid, who all come together on the tape in honour of Green Day.
Squadda has been on an unbelievably prolific streak this past month, after dropping his “My Room Look Like A Mall” mixtape aswell as the full length debut Main Attrakionz album “Bossalinis and Fooliyones“, a single with Ryan Hemsworth and the announcement of his forthcoming “Green Album”. However, this level of output hasn’t compromised the Oakland artist’s consistency, as Squadda sets the bar even higher with “LFK”. Our highlight of the tape is probably the cover of “Darlin’ Darlin’ Baby by The O’Jays” on disc 2.
Grab the downloads to both discs after the jump and happy belated Green Day. Read the rest of this entry »
