Through the insanely talented Remé, our guestmix series is continued in mindblowing fashion, and our ‘Best Of Leeds’ series is launched (more details to come). At only 18 years old, Leeds based Remé has already won the ‘Liquid Steel Sessions VS. Bangerang DJ Competition’, played at the notorious ‘Bigger Than Barry’ parties, and gained a reputation as a DJ that isn’t scared to encompass all sounds and styles into his sets. With a constant gig schedule around Leeds, it’s a wonder he had time to put together this breathtaking, hour long mixtape for us. It encapsulates his ‘no boundaries’ approach perfectly, as Gwen Stefani instrumentals are mixed with deep, beautiful house music from Casino Times and Missy Elliot is mixed with the new Grizzly addition Jay Weed. To understand, you have to listen. Also, Remé told us that in the next month he’ll be launching his own night ‘Square One’, based in Leeds, and we’re in good knowledge that the launch party will be an absolute bomb.
