Barcalona/Montreal based Sinjin Hawke has just dropped the latest podcast for URB.COM and it has had us fervently cooking all evening.
The whole mix is fire. The deft, richly produced, orchestral hip-hop and truly #based productions that have become increasingly synonymous with Sinjin’s name, from his debut EP “The Lights” (which was recently released on Pelican Fly) and the profusion of free bootlegs (dropped by our friends over at Truants) ooze out the podcast, streaming into one another seamlessly. Mixing everything from Just Blaze instrumentals to the enchanting synths and heavy dirty south 808’s of some exciting unreleased materials. The highlight for us has to be his Mascotter 2012 Edit of Shadows. Unreal. This mix undoubtedly ticks every box for us right now, so don’t sleep on it.
